My 20 lb Schnauzer has been on various high grade (expensive) kibbles and none of them have been just right. He has terrible breath which I can tell is linked to his eating dried kibble and they seem to irritate his stomach at times. I've been interested in feeding a raw food diet for awhile but have always been put off by the expense and the high maintenance.I decided to try Honest Kitchen and add various human grade raw protein sources to it (which isn't required). I'm extremely happy with the easy preparation and my dog loves it. He refuses to touch kibble now. It looks a lot like cooked oatmeal after it is hydrated and you can tell that it is human grade food. You just mix it with warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes. Its quick and easy.
